In a race to provide housing, a very poor choice has been offered up. The site of the old Box Hill brickworks, which was also a quarry for the material, then subsequently became a land fill site containing all sorts of dumped “stuff” has been earmarked. Now a local MP Richard Welch has been investigating the proposal for it to be the site for many high rise developments.
