PlanningAlerts is a free service which searches as many planning authority websites as it can find and emails you details of applications near you. The aim of this is to enable shared scrutiny of what is being built (and knocked down) in peoples’ communities. PlanningAlerts is brought to you by the charity the OpenAustralia Foundation.
If you want some certainty in having knowledge about, and an opportunity to have input to a planning request in your area, then this is definitely one for you. We are aware that some developers are not erecting the required signage for the specified time and this will remove that uncertainty of finding out. It will provide details of new applications in about a 2 km radius around the street that you select.
