VALE Bob Heaton

Bob was a gentleman of great wisdom and compassion who worked quietly in the community belonging to at least three Community groups. The Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place Aboriginal reconciliation committee, the Monastery ridge residents group and Croydon Conservation Society.
Bob, who has been a member for many years and a committee member for at least the last fifteen years, kept active as long as possible in the face of a debilitating lung disease.
At our CCS committee meetings which he attended until very recently, he would appear to be sitting quietly taking in the discussion around and then would have something very wise and always helpful to say. Bob’s integrity and warmth as a person and as a member of CCS will be sadly missed.
The service to celebrate of his is to be held at Potters Reception, 321 Jumping Creek Rd Warrandyte on Friday 28th June at 11am. No flowers by request, donations to Eastern Palliative Care would be appreciated.
