Tintern (Farm) Land subdivision
Residents who abut the farm and many others from the local community are concerned at the proposal to subdivide a portion of the land. It is to be an L shaped subdivision along the East and South boundaries. It is drawn up as being in two stages. The following diagram is an approximation of plans viewed at Council on Thursday 4th March.These plans have been amended since March, and as of 3rd June, there is to be no access to Gracedale Ave or Tintern Ave. This leaves Longview Rd to be the only ingress/egress to the development.
At this time the Council must review the plans in their own departments of Planning, Traffic management and any other dept likely to be involved.
Council will now review the application, in light of comments raised at a residents meeting on June 3rd, and also taking into account issues raised by respondents to the proposed development application. Residents are keeping a watchful eye on the process.
